There are three parts of our mind: The conscious mind, The subconscious mind and The unconscious mind.

The conscious mind is the ‘communicator’. It is the part in which communicates with both the world outside of your head and to your inner self. This is done through physical movement, speech, images, though and writing.

The subconscious mind then has control over our memories. It impacts the actions that we make including any rational decisions. This part of our mind is constantly storing information and is working/ thinking of things without us even realising. Our subconscious works quickly to respond according to experience.

The unconscious mind is persistently in communication with our conscious mind through our subconscious mind. Some perceive the subconscious and unconscious mind as synonyms for each other however they are quite different; the unconscious mind communicates through emotions, dreams, imagination and sensations, it is then also closer to instinct.
